The new Morgan Looks a Lot Like an Old Morgan

Being able to change everything without changing anything is a luxury only a few brands, such as Morgan, can afford.

Founded in 1909, the Morgan Motor Company is an iconic British automotive brand, renowned for its handcrafted vehicles that combine classic design with modern technologies. Known for its lightweight and agile sports cars, Morgan has maintained a tradition of handcraftsmanship for over a century while adapting to contemporary expectations.

In anticipation of the launch of its new six-cylinder flagship, Morgan reveals exclusive photographs of a camouflaged prototype in the advanced stages of road testing. This model, whose name has not yet been disclosed, will be officially unveiled in the spring. It will be built on the new « CXV » platform, an evolution of the brand’s bonded aluminum chassis.

Stronger and lighter, this « CXV » platform, combined with a BMW turbo six-cylinder engine, incorporates many technical innovations and mechanical improvements. These advancements promise enhanced dynamic performance and driving enjoyment. Although the published images do not reveal the final design, the new model will stand out with a contemporary aesthetic and proportions influenced by aerodynamics, while maintaining Morgan’s recognizable identity.

This flagship symbolically replaces the Plus Six, whose production ceased in November 2024. A limited edition called « Plus Six Pinnacle » marked the final units of this iconic model, now sold out. Although the new vehicle is not a direct successor to the Plus Six, it will occupy a prime position at the top of Morgan’s lineup.
