A breath of fresh air for DAZN which is at the heart of an unprecedented crisis surrounding French football broadcasting rights.

DAZN allows users to follow major sports competitions, such as the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, the NFL, the NBA, handball, and golf. Content is accessible from the 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen or the 10.9-inch passenger screen. This setup enables passengers to enjoy the service even when the vehicle is moving, although it is recommended to avoid such distractions while driving. When parked, you can watch TV, but on the road, a radio is perfectly sufficient!

Multimedia at the Heart of Tomorrow’s Vehicles

The DAZN app is now available on several recent Audi models, including the Audi A5, Q5, A6, A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron, which use an Android-based infotainment system. Additionally, Audi offers a range of various apps, including Amazon Music, Spotify, Audible, YouTube, and Zoom, to meet the increasing demand for onboard entertainment.

To access these services, users must have a myAudi account and an active data connection. The Audi Application Store, directly integrated into the MMI system, operates independently without the need for a connected smartphone.

According to Audi, this development reflects the growing importance of infotainment systems in vehicle choice. Customers are seeking connected and versatile solutions that enhance their driving experience and that of their passengers.

The integration of the DAZN app was made in partnership with CARIAD, Volkswagen Group’s software subsidiary. This solution, optimized for in-car use, could be expanded to other group brands in the future.
