The New Pirelli P Zero Has Arrived

Pirelli launches its fifth generation P Zero with a special edition tailored for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Pirelli recently unveiled in Milan the fifth generation of its iconic P Zero, a line of tires that combines performance and safety. This new version addresses the growing needs of electric and hybrid vehicles, featuring advanced technologies such as Elect, specifically designed for these models.

The fifth-generation P Zero stands out with innovative technical solutions. Thanks to an optimized design and virtual testing based on artificial intelligence, Pirelli promises improved handling and reduced braking distances.

Particularly suited for electric mobility, the tire uses Elect technology to reduce rolling resistance, thereby increasing vehicle range by up to 10%. The innovative design also manages the high torque from electric motors while limiting noise, ensuring optimal driving comfort.

An Extensive Market Coverage

The new P Zero™ lineup is available in sizes from 18 to 23 inches, with over 50 models already on the market. This offering includes versions approved for a wide range of vehicles, from the Lamborghini Urus SE to the BMW M5, including the Polestar 4 and Nio ET9.

Beyond the classic P Zero, the range includes specialized variants:

• P Zero E: Focused on sustainable mobility with over 55% natural or recycled materials.
• P Zero Winter 2: Optimized for high performance in winter conditions.
• P Zero Trofeo RS: Designed for mixed use on track and road.

The history of P Zero, begun in 1985, reflects Pirelli’s commitment to excellence. From the Ferrari F40 to the Porsche 911, more than 3,000 custom versions of this tire have been created.
