David Beckham’s son makes his electric car racing debut with Jaguar

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham will participate with Jaguar in Formula E testing. An adventure halfway between spotlights and racing circuits.

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, son of football superstar David Beckham, is venturing into the world of motorsports by joining Jaguar TCS Racing, the world team champions of Formula E. Brooklyn will partake in the Evo Sessions, a program aimed at introducing public figures to driving electric race cars.

Over the coming weeks, Brooklyn will be guided by Mitch Evans, a cornerstone of the Jaguar team since 2016, for training that combines simulator, physical preparation, and driving coaching. All this is to take the wheel of the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 under the best possible conditions, during an event organized at the Miami International Autodrome on March 5, the day after his 26th birthday.

“I have always been fascinated by motorsport. Being able to participate in the Evo Sessions with Jaguar and Formula E is an incredible opportunity”, Brooklyn stated. This remark fuels the idea that this experience is as much about personal adventure as it is about a well-orchestrated PR operation.

Because this announcement certainly shines a spotlight on pure competition. The Evo Sessions, the first program of its kind, will bring together 11 influential personalities from the worlds of sport, entertainment, and tech. Over two days in Miami, these participants, followed by a cumulative audience of over 300 million on social media, will experience immersion in the world of electric racing through the GEN3 Evo, the fastest car in its category.

For the curious, this adventure will be documented and widely shared on social media, featuring figures such as Sergio Agüero and Cleo Abram alongside Brooklyn. An event designed to appeal well beyond motorsport fans.
