TV Schedule for the 2026 Bahrain F1 Grand Prix
Meet in Sepang, Malaysia from October 2 to 4 for the sixteenth round of the 2026 F1 season.
This weekend in F1, the name remains, but the scenery changes! Forced to move from Sakhir due to the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, the Bahrain Grand Prix will take place in Sepang. An unusual solution that offers Formula 1 fans a long-awaited reunion with the Malaysian circuit, absent from the calendar since 2017.
During this last visit, Max Verstappen won ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo. The Dutchman returns to a victorious ground, just like Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, who are also winners in Sepang. For part of the grid, however, they will have to discover this fast and technical track, measuring 5.543 kilometers.

The drivers will have three practice sessions to get accustomed before qualifying. No Sprint is on the agenda for this sixteenth round: the weekend retains its traditional format, with a 56-lap race on Sunday.
The heat, humidity, and abrasive surface are expected to place tire management at the forefront of concerns. Showers are another unknown factor, although the forecasted risk decreases on Sunday. Sepang has already shown how a thunderstorm can disrupt a race, notably in 2009 and 2012.
For French viewers, be sure to set your alarm: Malaysia is six hours ahead of mainland France. Qualifying will start on Saturday at 10 AM, while the race will begin on Sunday at 9 AM. The entire weekend will be broadcast on Canal+ group channels.
