We think we’ve figured out which car is behind this Toyota teaser! (+video)

We were expecting a European version of the bZ3X SUV, but Toyota surprises us with the announcement of a 100% electric coupe.

On March 12, Toyota will officially present its new 100% electric offering. This brand new battery electric model is announced with a sleek coupe design, combined with particularly dynamic road handling, as well as surprisingly spaciousness, versatility, and comfort.  

An overview of the lines strongly reminds us of the bZ Compact concept presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2022. For this new concept car, Toyota advocated dynamism with a wealth of reliefs and body contours, in contrast to current automotive trends. We can simply guess from the photo and the teaser video that the front end features the signature seen on the bZ4X and especially the new Prius.

So a Toyota bZ3C ? Unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, it took its main lines from the bZ Sport Crossover concept presented a year earlier in Shanghai. It is a mid-sized coupe SUV, measuring 4780 mm in length, 1866 mm in width, and 1510 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2880 mm. We really fell in love with this concept, and all the boxes seem checked for it to be the mass production version. Great!
