Silence, Camera, Action at Goodwood for the Honda Super EV

On the occasion of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, Honda will present its new 100% electric urban concept car: the Super EV.

This vehicle, still in prototype form, is part of a global evaluation program launched by Honda to explore new forms of urban mobility. A hybrid of Kei Car and urban SUV determined to find its place in Europe.

The Super EV stands out for its compact dimensions, a sporty design body, and a striking purple hue, though it may not be available for commercial sale… or perhaps only as an option. Designed to demonstrate that a vehicle in segment A can reconcile electric mobility with driving pleasure, this concept highlights Honda’s expertise in developing both technological and accessible solutions.

Honda Takes Center Stage

Displayed statically on the Honda stand, conceived as an interactive filming set, the Super EV will also participate in the hill climb at Goodwood, allowing the public to observe its dynamic behavior for the first time in Europe. It will be showcased alongside other new models from the brand, such as the Civic Type R Ultimate Edition and the hybrid coupe Prelude e:HEV.

This concept is part of Honda’s overall electrification strategy, which plans to offer a wider range of electric and hybrid models in the coming years. It also reflects the brand’s commitment to carbon neutrality and the development of technologies derived from its motorsport experience.

While a production launch has yet to be confirmed, the Super EV represents an important step in Honda’s thinking about the urban mobility of tomorrow, combining compactness, energy efficiency, and expressive design. Its appearance at Goodwood thus marks a strategic European showcase to test public reaction and gather initial impressions.
