TV schedule for the 2025 Austrian F1 Grand Prix

Meet us in Zeltweg from June 27 to June 29, 2025, for the eleventh round of the 2025 F1 season.

Two weeks after its stop in Canada, F1 returns to the European continent to hold the eleventh round of the World Championship at the Red Bull Ring circuit in Austria. The formidable and unique Österreichring was established in 1969 to replace the circuit laid out on the Zeltweg aerodrome. The layout we know today as the Red Bull Ring was primarily created during the winter of 1995-1996, when Hermann Tilke was tasked with transforming the Österreichring into a shorter and more modern circuit. It was the site of a particularly eventful Grand Prix last year. In 2024, George Russell triumphed there after a race full of twists and turns, ahead of Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz. Lewis Hamilton, who won on this track in 2016, finished in fourth place.

This unexpected podium was caused by a significant incident: a collision between the two leaders of the race, Lando Norris and Max Verstappen. The contact relegated the Brit to the back of the order and allowed the Dutchman to limit the damage by finishing fifth. This episode symbolized the emergence of a promising rivalry, as McLaren seemed to be regaining the upper hand in the battle for the title.

But in 2025, the context has changed significantly. In Montreal, for the first time, both McLarens collided. Lando Norris, after a bold overtaking attempt, had to retire at the end of the race. Oscar Piastri, for his part, crossed the line in fourth position. Ahead, George Russell claimed victory in a commanding fashion, far removed from last year’s Austrian drama. Finally, Kimi Antonelli surprised everyone by securing the very first podium of his Formula 1 career.
