After a trip to Canada that resulted in the most exciting Grand Prix of the year two weeks ago, F1 is preparing to begin its European tour. The hostilities will start this weekend with the Spanish Grand Prix, the first of a program of 8 rounds on the Old Continent, which will continue until September.

After the downpours in Montreal, the F1 participants could experience the first summer temperatures of Catalonia, where the thermometer often tends to rise very high. Thus, it is expected that the weekend will take place under the Barcelonian sun.

On-track action will begin on Friday at 1:30 PM with Free Practice 1, followed by Free Practice 2 scheduled for 5:00 PM. Saturday will be divided into two parts with Free Practice 3 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and qualifying starting at 4:00 PM. On Sunday, the start of the Spanish Grand Prix is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
