After a three-week break, the final sprint of this thrilling 2024 F1 season kicks off on the Las Vegas Strip. As it’s a night race, you’ll need to set your alarm to catch this second edition of the race through the streets of the city of sin transformed into a racing arena. Tune in at a convenient time for your Sunday morning coffee, with a start time at 07:00 French time.

As an anecdote, speaking of the second edition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix isn’t entirely accurate since in 1981 and 1982, official races were held there under the name of the United States East Grand Prix on… Caesars Palace parking lot!

Max Verstappen, increasingly close to a third consecutive crown, won last year’s inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix ahead of Charles Leclerc and Sergio Pérez. The 6.120 km track, quite monotonous and lacking flavor, didn’t provide the most exciting race of the year, but the environment is truly worth a look. The very low temperatures around 10 degrees Celsius should be a real headache for the drivers and could shake up the established order. The team that makes the best use of Pirelli tires will be ahead, that’s a certainty. But ultimately, as always in the Nevada desert, the star of the event isn’t a driver or team, but Vegas itself!
