Electric rally this weekend in Le Touquet with Alpine

Second appearance this weekend of the Alpine A290 Rally Trophy and a major first in the French Rally Championship

The Alpine A290 Rally Trophy will be one of the main attractions this weekend at the Rallye Le Touquet -Pas-de-Calais, a key stage that demonstrates the ability of a 100% electric rally to coexist with the elite of French rallies.

After its launch in November 2025 during the Indre Rally, the Alpine A290 Rally Trophy is making its big debut in the French Rally Championship. Ten teams will compete at the wheel of the Alpine A290 Rally, the first 100% electric car designed by Alpine for customer competition.

The winners of the inaugural round, Melvin Rabilloud and Enzo Mahinc, will defend their title. They will face several competitors already seen in Indre, including Samuel Hoarau, Junior Champion of Réunion 2024. Denis Ridel and Gaëtan Debec, who finished fourth in the first appearance, will also be present.

In the female category, Emma Chalvin, vice-champion of France in Women’s Rally, will team up with Amandine Borderie. The Turkish Nazan Zorlu, vice-champion of Women’s Turkey 2023 and supported by Alpine Store Nîmes, will participate with her co-driver Ozhan Ciplak.

The Alpine A290 in the elite

The 1st e-Rally Le Touquet – Pas-de-Calais offers six special stages totaling 115.14 km of timed sections for a total course of 486.14 km. On Friday, the crews will compete twice on Créquy – Saint-Michel-sous-Bois (15 km) and Verchocq – Wicquinghem (15 km). On Saturday, they will face the longest special stage of the event across all technologies: Hucqueliers – Parenty (29.98 km).

“Performer” points will be awarded to the three fastest on each special stage, in addition to the final ranking. Participants will benefit from dedicated assistance, charging infrastructure, and technical support supervised by Alpine Racing, ensuring fair competition.

Across the six rounds of the Alpine A290 Rally Trophy scheduled in the French Rally Championship calendar, over €236,000 in prizes and awards will be distributed, including an official Alpine Racing program for the final winner.

This first participation in the CFR will allow for a concrete observation of the integration of electric rallying at the highest national level. It will also be an opportunity for the knowledgeable public to assess the small electric powerhouses and hopefully award them the most prestigious racing license, that of the enthusiasts.
