Aston Martin Releases a Chimera on the Track

An unprecedented prototype from Aston Martin, halfway between Formula 1 and hypercar, intrigues and fascinates after its first laps.

Glimpsed during private testing in Portimao by ivomat_all_about_cars, this prototype signed by Aston Martin is already establishing itself as a true automotive chimera. A radical single-seater with a halo, proportions worthy of an F1, and a body reminiscent of the Aston Martin Valkyrie: the machine blurs all known boundaries.

At a time when manufacturers are looking to bring Formula 1 sensations closer to the general public, some have already crossed a threshold. The Mercedes-AMG One, developed by Mercedes-AMG, features a true F1 engine approved for road use, while the RB17 designed by Red Bull Advanced Technologies aims for performances close to an endurance prototype.

A F1 for Everyone?

But with this mysterious creation, Aston Martin seems to go even further: it’s no longer about imitating F1 but merging it with a hypercar. The result is an extreme machine, likely reserved for the track, with production potentially limited to a few units — or even a single model.
