Start grid and TV schedule for the Sprint of the Brazilian Grand Prix F1

Heading to the Interlagos circuit for the Brazilian Grand Prix, the twenty-first round of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

After three particularly intense weeks, the grand circus of F1 touches down in São Paulo. This marks the end of an American tour that passed through Austin, Texas, and Mexico, putting both body and mind to the test.

Brazil is a historic and unmissable stop on the calendar. This is the 51st time in the history of Formula 1 that the South American nation hosts a Grand Prix, and the 42nd time on the famous Interlagos track. As in the last two seasons, the South American rendezvous will take place in a Sprint format, featuring a Sprint race on Saturday and the main race on Sunday for the fifth time this season.

Gone for 30 years, Ayrton Senna will of course be in the thoughts and hearts of a nation that has never truly recovered from the loss of its idol. Everyone will remember that on March 24, 1991, Ayrton Senna finally won his home Grand Prix under dreadful conditions. Wracked with cramps and exhausted, Senna pushed through the pain to finally clinch a victory on his home soil, marking what is undoubtedly his greatest success in F1. The celebrations will be abundant and will reach their peak when Lewis Hamilton takes the track in the McLaren MP4/5B with which the Brazilian became World Champion in 1990. The demonstration is scheduled for this Saturday following the Sprint and qualifying sessions, around 5:00 PM local time (9:00 PM in France).
