As of January 1, 2024, the city of Boulogne-Billancourt (92) will introduce paid parking for motorized two-wheelers. Here’s what you need to know.
Following the General Assembly of Public Space, the City has decided to free sidewalks from all scooters or motorcycles parked on them, and to implement paid parking for motorized two-wheelers. After an informational phase, this measure will come into effect starting January 1st, 2024.
Parking rates and zones
The rate set for motorcycles and scooters is 50% of that applied to other vehicles, which is €1 for 1 hour. Similar to cars, the maximum recommended duration is 2 hours in red zones and 5 hours in orange zones. If the time limit is exceeded or payment is not made, the post-parking fine (FPS) will be €17.50, reduced to €12.50 if paid within the first 9 days (reduced FPS).

User categories
As with cars, different rates are offered for various user categories:
- Residents: for residents of Boulogne-Billancourt
- Residents owning an electric motorized two-wheeler will benefit from a 50% discount on the resident rate. There is no special rate for electric motorized two-wheelers for other user categories.
- Local professionals: sedentary healthcare professionals (performing fewer than 100 home visits per year), artisans, merchants, and their employees, whose activity is based in Boulogne-Billancourt
- Other professionals: all individuals working in a company or administration located in Boulogne-Billancourt who are not eligible for the “local professional” category
- Mobile healthcare professionals whose practice is within the GPSO territory and who perform more than 100 home visits per year will benefit from free parking.
