Lyon 2-Wheelers Show 2022: An Electrifying Comeback

Following a virtual edition in 2021, the Lyon Two-Wheelers Show is making its real comeback from March 3 to 6 with new motorcycles and electric scooters.

The Covid-19 crisis impacted events like the Lyon Two-Wheelers Show. After hosting 72,000 visitors from February 13 to 16, 2020, just before the first lockdown, it was held virtually in 2021.

But in 2022, things will be back to normal, or almost. The 19^th edition of the Lyon Show will take place in full form, “in person” with its audience. Nearly 2,000 motorcycles are expected to be displayed across the 100,000 m² of the event.

Regarding activities, the show plans to feature 80 themed exhibitions, a Lifestyle village for accessories and innovations, trial or stunt tracks, auctions, and even an indoor Motocross.

The Lyon Two-Wheelers Show 2022 will take place from Thursday, March 3 to Sunday, March 6, at Eurexpo located in Chassieu (Rhône). The ticket costs 17.50 euros, 14.50 euros for 11-18-year-olds and students, or free for children under 11.

Electric Motorcycles, Scooters, and E-Scooters

As is customary, electric models will also be spotlighted for the 5^th consecutive year. The Lyon Show will adopt an approach called “ecomobility” for the 2022 edition.

The “Lyon Mobility” event will highlight “various means of eco-responsible mobility”. New products electric motorcycles, scooters, and even e-scooters will be available for trial, with reservations opening on February 18 on the official website.

For now, the list of electric two-wheel models is not confirmed, but the BMW CE 04 scooters, Vespa Elettrica, and Globe3T e-scooters are highly likely to be included. Electric motorcycles like Harley-Davidson Livewire, Zero Motorcycles, Super Soco, and Energica are also expected to join the lineup.
