Electric Motorcycle: The Tromox Ukko S Arrives in France

This small electric motorcycle from China can reach a top speed of 100 km/h.

The Ukko S is now available in France. Classified in the 125 cc equivalent category, this small electric motorcycle is marketed by the Chinese manufacturer Tromox. It offers a fun aspect and a rather interesting price/performance ratio to find its place on a market dominated by the Super Soco TC Max.

The Tromox Ukko S features a steel frame and 14-inch wheels. Its centrally located motor is connected to the rear wheel by a belt. It delivers 4 kW nominal power and up to 8 kW at peak. The top speed reaches 100 km/h.

A Tromox Ukko S with 160 km of range… in theory

Weighing 110 kilograms, the Tromox Ukko S is equipped with a 3.96 kWh lithium-ion battery, which would guarantee up to 160 km of range. However, this manufacturer’s figure seems very optimistic. Speed will naturally have a significant impact on consumption. On a highway, the Ukko S’s range would drop to about 45 km according to the dealer Go2Roues. For charging, users have two options: connect the motorcycle directly, or remove the removable battery and charge it, for example, at home. A full charge takes about 5.5 hours.

Fairly suitable for smaller sizes, the Tromox Ukko S has a seat 77 mm above the ground. It features an inverted hydraulic fork and a central rear suspension. Braking is managed with disc brakes both at the front and rear. ABS is included as standard.

The Tromox Ukko S is available in several colors. It is sold at €6,490, with a €900 bonus not deducted.
