OX Patagonia: a stylish look and 100 km of range

The OX Patagonia looks like a motorcycle built for adventure, but its autonomy is too limited to consider a long-distance trip.

Innovations in the electric two-wheeler market continue at a particularly rapid pace. The OX Patagonia, which interests us today, comes from Spain, like the Ray 7.7 or the Silence S01. It targets the segment of small homologated 125 cc motorcycles, which already includes numerous models.

The Patagonia can rely on its raw style to stand out. Its treaded tires, various protective features, and motocross front fender seem designed for rides far from urban areas. The faux tank houses a removable battery weighing just over 20 kilograms. When full, it allows for approximately 100 km of range. Charging is done on a standard domestic outlet. To go from 0 to 100%, it takes about 5 hours.

110 km/h top speed

The motor of the Patagonia is located in the rear wheel hub. It delivers 6 kW continuously and can temporarily provide 11 kW at peak. The motorcycle can reach 110 km/h, but at such speed, the range will likely be significantly reduced.

Equipped with a steel frame, the Patagonia weighs 160 kilograms with the battery. It features disc braking and adjustable long-travel suspension. The motorcycle is mounted on 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch rear wheels.

First deliveries in September

OX Motorcycles has already opened reservations. The manufacturer appears to primarily want to focus on the Spanish, Portuguese, and French markets. It expects to begin deliveries in September.

The OX Patagonia is priced at €7,300 (excluding purchase incentives). Considering its features, the price doesn’t seem exaggerated but also not particularly attractive. Customers benefit from a 2-year or 50,000 km warranty.
