Cooltra: Electric bikes and scooters for businesses

For employees, Cooltra’s bikes and scooters could be free. It all depends on their company’s decision.

Cooltra, one of the four open-access scooter operators in Paris, has just announced the launch of a new “Primos” offer for businesses. Through this, employees will have access to an electric scooter and bike shared service.

“Thanks to Cooltra’s Primos offer, companies can provide their employees with a fleet of electric scooters and bikes for their exclusive use, accessible via a mobile app that allows them to locate, reserve, and manage the trip (start, pause, end)”, explains the Spanish company. As the service is fully digitalized, the bikes and scooters operate without keys.

A new Cooltra service that can be offered to employees

Companies subscribing to this offer have the ability to set paid hours and free hours. They also determine the rental price and billing modalities (per minute, per hour, etc). Of course, the service can also be offered directly to employees. In this case, the company benefits from a 25% tax credit.

The new Primos offer is available starting at €129 per month. The minimum commitment period is 12 months, and companies must lease at least 10 vehicles (scooters or bikes). Insurance, maintenance, and inspections are included in the service. Cooltra also provides helmets for the scooters, as well as telematics tools.

The offer is available throughout France. Cooltra will offer companies the management of vehicle battery recharging and exchange. However, this service will initially be deployed only in the Paris region.
