Waze Finally Integrates an Essential Feature!

The latest update of Waze emphasizes safety and finally allows users to report fuel prices.

The latest updates to the Waze app have been unveiled by its parent company, Google. From smoother traffic flow to speed bump alerts, the added features are rich and varied! The app primarily redefines its reporting experience, revealing a more streamlined look that enables drivers to effortlessly provide real-time information on road conditions.

At the heart of these changes is a redesigned reporting menu, initiated by a new hazard icon in the corner of the screen, asking users: “What do you see?”

The navigation app adds alerts for speed bumps and sharp turns. Already available on iPhone, they should arrive on Android in the coming weeks. The two new icons for sharp turns and speed bumps are accompanied by clearly marked locations on the map during navigation.

In the revamped reporting menu, users have the option to report a wide range of different road conditions, from traffic and accidents to police activity (including, of course, speed traps), bad weather, blocked lanes, road closures, and more.

Finally, fuel prices!

A long-requested feature, users can now report fuel prices in real time. It is also possible to request roadside assistance from other travelers.

Unlike previous iterations where users had to navigate through two or three menus to access reporting options, the updated user interface now quickly offers more specific choices for each category and automatically sends the report after a few seconds without any additional action.
