On the occasion of the 2025/2026 Formula E World Championship final in London, Nissan’s sports division unveiled a collaboration that nobody, absolutely nobody, probably saw coming: a collection of grillz inspired by its most iconic cars. For this astonishing endeavor, NISMO has partnered with LOUD MOUTH LDN, a jewelry workshop located in Peckham, South London, specializing in the artisanal creation of grillz. Four pieces have been produced inspired by four models: the Nissan Formula E GEN3 Evo, the legendary Skyline GT-R R34, its spectacular racing variant Pennzoil, and the Nissan Z GT500.
However, there was no question of simply sticking a NISMO logo on a tooth. The jeweler explains that they worked on the shapes, lines, and certain characteristic details of the cars to transpose them onto these rather unusual pieces of jewelry.
“Instead of starting from logos or lettering, we drew inspiration from the shapes and details of the vehicles to transform them into jewelry,” explains Reece Garcia, founder of LOUD MOUTH LDN.
When NISMO meets hip-hop culture
The idea seems absurd, but it ultimately has a certain marketing logic. Originating from American hip-hop culture before entering the realms of fashion and music, grillz allow NISMO to reach an audience very distant from the usual GT-R enthusiasts, lap times at Nürburgring, and technical specifications.
The collection was exhibited at Westfield Stratford City before moving to ExCeL London for the Formula E final. An exclusive piece was even to be offered to fans.
