ChatGPT Invades Data Science

ChatGPT, a curious travel companion, now completes the usual voice recognition on certain DS models.

What if you asked your DS to tell you the most beautiful cultural or artistic sites to visit during a getaway in Bordeaux, list the most exquisite artworks held at the Louvre Museum, or even create a quiz on your favorite topic, or generate a children’s story to entertain them during a trip? All these ideas, and much more, can now become topics of conversation with your car. Integrated into the DS IRIS SYSTEM, ChatGPT offers a whole new dimension of interaction between the user and their vehicle. If none of these topics interest you or if you simply want to have a chat during long, solitary drives, that works too. Just be careful—the “Mr. I Know Everything” interlocutor might quickly become annoying!

ChatGPT is a generative artificial intelligence model. Through training on enormous amounts of data, it is capable of answering an impressive variety of questions and providing accurate, relevant information. The integration of ChatGPT is offered at no extra cost for six months if you subscribe between October 19, 2023, and February 29, 2024, on all recent DS models. This feature, which can be activated remotely via the DS Services Store, is indeed only available on DS vehicles equipped with the DS IRIS SYSTEM.

Note that only the first 20,000 users will have access to this technology during the initial testing phase. If you miss out, know that you can still benefit from it by simply connecting your phone with the app to your multimedia system… So it’s not exactly a revolution, but rather the subtle art of standing out through uselessness.
