Volvo

Driven by strong performance in the European market, Volvo Cars’ global sales increased by 27% in April.

Volvo recorded a global sales volume of 65,838 units, a 27% increase compared to the same period last year. The sales growth was mainly due to a solid performance in Europe as well as the new 100% electric model from the manufacturer, the EX30.

Its range of electrified models, equipped with either 100% electric or plug-in hybrid powertrains, saw a 53% increase in sales compared to the same period last year, and accounted for 48% of total vehicle sales in April. The share of 100% electric vehicles reached 26% for this month. The total sales for the period from January to April amounted to 214,914 vehicles worldwide, a 16% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

France Drives Volvo Upward
