Virtual Tour of Renault’s Stand at Rétromobile

The grand luxury automobile event opens its doors to the press tomorrow, but Renault already offers us a virtual preview of its booth.

Although Renault played along, and we thank them for that, we still remember the sadness of the sparsely populated aisles of the last International Motor Show, mostly occupied by Chinese manufacturers. So, hoping for a more delightful edition next time, come to Porte de Versailles this week for a breath of fresh automotive air at Rétromobile. Manufacturers have finally realized that to present the future, they must explain the past. There’s nothing like a bridge of memories to cross over to the shores of new mobility. Many manufacturers will showcase their new electrified models and even some prototypes alongside the legends of yesteryear.

At Renault, it’s a 50/50 mix between modern and vintage vehicles, with some 21st-century intruders sharing space with the 4CV, Dauphine, or the legendary shooting star.

To accompany the launch of Rafale E-Tech full hybrid displayed at the stand, the diamond-badged brand is showcasing a replica of the Caudron-Renault Rafale C.460 aircraft, born from Renault’s acquisition of the aeronautical company Caudron in the 1930s.

Three resin models of the silhouette of a Renault 5 Electric Prototype will be unveiled for the first time, revealing the official colors of the production model. As promised, here is a virtual preview of this exceptional exhibition.
