A Very Angry Lexus LBX!

The LBX Morizo RR Concept derived from Lexus’s all-new compact SUV is a tribute to the President of Toyota.

Akio Toyoda, aka “Morizo”, is the President of Toyota Motor Corporation during the week and an amateur driver on the weekends. He was involved in the development of this LBX Morizo RR Concept, which features a 1.6-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine producing 305 hp / 224 kW, an 8-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission, a permanently engaged electronic-controlled all-wheel drive system, and distinctive design elements.

The LBX Morizo RR Concept will easily find its place on a race track with its electronically managed all-wheel drive and 8-speed Direct Shift automatic gearbox. All key components of the car have been optimized for performance, including the chassis, bodywork, suspension, and tires. To enhance aerodynamics further, the development team utilized racing technology.

To align with the theme of Lexus and Toyota GAZOO Racing at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the concept car has been personalized with unique elements. The characteristic Morizo yellow color appears on the grille, brake calipers, and seat belts.
