This Little Rolls-Royce Is Too Cute! Its Price Is Slightly Less

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presents Cameo, a stunning miniature sculpture inspired by the brand’s heritage.

What better way to capture the essence of a brand like Rolls-Royce than to do so in the purest and most innocent form, that of a toy for children and adults alike? Let’s just pretend we don’t want to know the price because, after all, what could be more vulgar… and especially at Rolls-Royce, everything is expensive!

The silhouette of this unique collector’s item pays tribute to the convertibles produced by Rolls-Royce during its early years, while the materials and construction of the model echo how cars are now built by hand at the Rolls-Royce Home in Goodwood.

The model consists of a series of individually crafted high-precision components, carefully and meticulously designed to be assembled by the owner. Beware, don’t expect a fixed price because you are the one assembling it. The current trend is DIY (Do It Yourself). Made from several of the same materials used in real-sized Rolls-Royce cars, the owner can enjoy the tactile experience of assembling their own Rolls-Royce.

The body is made up of two sections, one in solid oak and the other in polished aluminum, recreating the iconic two-tone finish of Rolls-Royce. The oak body section attaches magnetically to the aluminum chassis, mimicking a key step in the assembly process called the “marriage,” when the body is mounted on the line. This important moment in the creation of a Rolls-Royce is an event many clients choose to witness in person, so it was natural that this stage of production is reflected in Cameo.

Next, the interior, carefully designed, is installed. These parts are 3D printed and upholstered with the same leather as used in full-sized cars. Other authentic details include self-leveling hub caps, which keep the “RR” monogram upright when the wheels are turning. Finally, the driver of Cameo takes their rightful place in the cockpit, ready to embark on a journey of luxury and style.

This extraordinary miniature expression of Rolls-Royce is now available in Rolls-Royce showrooms and brand boutiques. Its price? Four figures, unfortunately—perhaps it’s better not to know!
