Rental company Sixt enters motorsport with a famous manufacturer

Porsche and rental company Sixt, already partners in luxury car rentals, have teamed up for the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.

How to combine usefulness with pleasure? Porsche and rental company Sixt have signed a dual agreement in Germany: to enhance the fleet of available rental cars in Germany and to be the title partner of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland championship.

Thus, starting in April, the Sixt agencies in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich will include Porsche 911, Panamera, Cayenne, Taycan, and electric Macan in their catalog. A few days earlier, Sixt had announced it was getting rid of its Teslas that are unpopular with its clientele.

This synergy, which rides on the message of affordable passion, is therefore welcome for promoting Sixt, now prominently displayed on the racing cars. The affluent clientele will appreciate it. The rental company’s idea is to reach a new customer base with high purchasing power, as low-priced rentals have become less economically relevant.
