Ford announces the launch of the limited edition “Sound Edition,” the first variant of its new strategy called Ford Collection.
This series unveiled by Ford aims to offer vehicles with a distinctive style and enriched equipment. It concerns three models, the Puma and its electric variant Puma Gen-E, and the Kuga.

The Sound Edition stands out with an enhanced B&O Performance audio system. This device offers superior sound quality, with more powerful speakers, precise acoustic tuning, and optimal sound reproduction, even at high volumes. On the Puma models, the power reaches 650 watts. On the Ford Kuga, it climbs to 700 watts. The Kuga Sound Edition also benefits from additional tweeters and woofers at the rear, for a more immersive sound experience.
All for Music
Each model has undergone rigorous acoustic tuning by HARMAN engineers. They used specialized software and varied playlists to adjust the sounds, including voices in audiobooks and podcasts. The Beosonic function, accessible from the steering wheel, also allows for easy adjustments of the settings.
Aside from the audio, the Sound Edition models stand out for their design. Outside, they feature specific alloy wheels, Magnetite paint, and a contrasting black roof. A new Ford color, Metropolis White, also makes its debut.
The interior offers color harmonies and materials designed for comfort. The Puma adopts Metal Grey fabric upholstery with light trims, while the Kuga features comfortable seats adjustable in 18 positions, dressed in Ebony fabric.
The Ford Puma and Puma Gen-E Sound Edition are available for order starting June 2025. The Kuga Sound Edition will be offered a little later in the year. Ford promises thus “more emotion per kilometer” with this series focused on sensory pleasure onboard.
