BMW Série 8

BMW took advantage of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance to unveil a very limited series of its Series 8.

The M850i Edition M Heritage, model year 2026, is a version produced in only 500 units, exclusively in the form of the xDrive Gran Coupé. Production will begin in November 2025, with deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2026.

The M Heritage Edition is distinguished by five historical colors from the first Series 8 (E31), introduced in 1989: Bright Red, Mauritius Blue metallic, Cosmos Black metallic, Oxford Green metallic, and Daytona Violet metallic. These special paints, provided by BMW Individual, are included in the price. They are complemented by a carbon roof adorned with M tricolor stripes and bi-color Orbit Grey 20-inch double-spoke wheels shod with high-performance tires. The M Sport Professional package is standard, featuring M brakes with black calipers, M Shadowline headlights, and glossy black exterior elements.

But can we reinvent the BMW E31?

The interior receives an exclusive treatment with M sport seats in BMW Individual Full Merino black leather and Alcantara, adorned with tricolor stitching. Alcantara also covers the headliner, dashboard, and upper door panels. The headrests feature a specific M badge that is unlit. The center console is dressed in matte carbon, while the glass gear lever and iDrive knob add a touch of elegance. “M850i Edition M Heritage” and “1/500” inscriptions are located on the cup holder cover and door sills.

This special edition is delivered in a unique and complete configuration, including the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond audio system and the Driving Assistance Professional package. The client only needs to choose the exterior color.
