Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis. Bless you!
Rolls-Royce’s personalization service strikes again with a tribute to the spectacle and mystery of a solar eclipse.
The launch of this bespoke Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis Private Collection coincides with the annular solar eclipse visible in parts of the Western Hemisphere on October 14. The dark and intimidating vehicle is limited to only 25 units, all sold before the official presentation to the brand’s loyal customers.
Rarity has no price, but it has a cost.
At Rolls-Royce, they are accustomed not to disclose the selling price of these limited editions. Let’s just say it’s worth what a client is willing to offer, and of course, at least six zeros must be matched on the bank transfer order.

The impressive paint incorporates a copper powder pigment that appears darker until it catches the light, creating an iridescence. Tangerine accents adorn the inserts under the iconic Pantheon grille and brake calipers, reminiscent of the intense sunbeams observed as the eclipse progresses. The same tangerine hue is used for the hand-painted carriage line.

The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis features a fully bespoke “Starlight” headliner with a special animation depicting the different phases of an eclipse. When the engine starts, a sequence begins, replicating the entire solar eclipse, with the dark silhouette of the Moon completely obscuring the bright Sun. A circle of 940 stars forms, representing the luminous corona around the lunar silhouette. 192 other stars recreate a starry environment visible during a total solar eclipse in the daytime. The animation lasts exactly 7 minutes and 31 seconds, the longest possible duration of a total solar eclipse. Be careful not to lose focus once in motion!
Rolls-Royce cultivates exception
The bespoke watch incorporates a 0.5-carat brilliant-cut diamond, reminiscent of the “Diamond Ring” effect, when a single dazzling light point can be seen around the Moon’s edge just before and right after it obscures the Sun. Simpler, but rarely more chic.

The tangerine hue is repeated on seats decorated with over 200,000 individual perforations. Rest assured, the traditional umbrellas are still well hidden in the doors.
