From November 7 to 9, 2025, Renault will excite enthusiasts around the Clio, R5 Turbo, and several legendary anniversaries.

After shining at Rétromobile and the Historic French Grand Prix, Renault continues its heritage tour at the 46th Epoqu’Auto show in Lyon. More than 100,000 visitors are expected to discover the exceptional staging on The Originals Renault – The Collection stand, centered around three major themes: Clio, R5 Turbo, and the anniversaries of the Renault 16, 10, and 30.

Clio: the popular icon in all its forms

Thirty-five years after its launch, the Clio remains a symbol of versatility and performance. For the first time in France, the New Renault Clio will be presented in its Esprit Alpine version and its Absolute Red color. Completely redesigned, this sixth generation focuses on technology with its OpenR Link multimedia system, 29 driver assistance features, and E-Tech 160 hp hybrid engine emitting only 89 g/km of CO₂.

Surrounding it, five emblematic models will recall the richness of the lineage: three competition versions (Clio 1 Group A, Clio 2 Super 1600, and Clio 3 Cup), a spectacular mid-engine Clio 2 V6, as well as a 1992 Clio 1, a faithful witness to the 1990s city car.

Renault 5 Turbo: from the past to the future

The Renault 5 Turbo 3E, a 100% electric show car, pays tribute to the 1980s icon while projecting its spirit into the future.

Next to it, Julien Saunier’s R5 Maxi Turbo, returned from the Historic Tour de Corse, will revive the legend of Jean Ragnotti and his 1985 exploits. These presentations will mark both the 45th anniversary of the R5 Turbo and the 40th anniversary of its victory at the Tour de Corse.

Anniversaries, rarities, and services

Renault will also celebrate the 60th anniversary of the R16, a revolutionary hatchback model, displayed alongside unprecedented prototypes such as Project 114 and the R16 coupe-convertible. The 60th anniversary of the Renault 10, the last rear-engine sedan, and the 50th anniversary of the Renault 30, the first French car equipped with the PRV V6, complete this journey through time.
