911 GT3 F.A. Porsche

Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, better known as F. A., would have celebrated his 90th birthday today.

To celebrate this iconic anniversary, the manufacturer unveils a unique creation: the 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche. This commemorative model, limited to 90 units, was designed by the bespoke Sonderwunsch department in collaboration with Mark Porsche, the designer’s son. A rolling tribute that combines sportiness, refinement, and family memory.

Every detail of this special edition draws inspiration from the 911 series G that F. A. Porsche drove in the 1980s. The new exclusive F. A. Greenmetallic paint recalls the Oak Greenmetallic of his historic model, while the F. A. Grid-Weave fabric used in the center of the seats evokes the pattern of his favorite jacket. “Through many details, we have integrated my father’s personal preferences into this exciting project,” confides Mark Porsche. The interior combines Club Brown Truffle leather, Chalk stitching, and F. A. Grid-Weave inserts for a rendering that is both contemporary and rich in history.

Terribly beautiful and modern

The 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche retains the lines and performance of a modern GT3: 4.0-liter flat-six engine, 510 hp, and 450 Nm of torque, with the Touring Package. But exclusivity is also manifested through the Sport Classic rims inspired by the classic Fuchs, the walnut gear knob engraved with the designer’s signature, and the gold “90 F. A. Porsche” badges that adorn the exterior and interior. Each unit is numbered and becomes a true collector’s item.

Beyond the automobile, this anniversary edition includes a special series Chronograph 1 Porsche Design, a reinterpretation of the 1972 model that brought F. A. Porsche into the history of contemporary watchmaking. The watch, made in Switzerland, features the iconic matte black design, luminous hands, and a movement inspired by the car’s wheels. A matching travel bag, made of Brown Truffle leather and F. A. Grid-Weave, completes this exceptional set.

At the same time, Porsche revives the Porsche Junior, the iconic sports sled of F. A., limited to 90 units, made of carbon fiber and equipped with a F. A. Grid-Weave cushion, to remind us that Porsche’s vision is not limited to the road.

Born on December 11, 1935, F. A. Porsche made his mark in the history of automotive and industrial design with his philosophy of reduction to the essentials and timeless functionality. After creating the legendary 911 and founding Porsche Design in 1972, he designed watches, glasses, writing instruments, and consumer objects that have become classics of modern design. The 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche embodies today this visionary spirit, celebrating a legacy that continues to inspire mobility and style.
