Nissan Z Kaze: Retro, Muscles, and a Huge Crush
With its retractable roof, genuine tuning-style rims, and a modified V6 biturbo, the Nissan Z Kaze concept makes us incredibly eager to drive!
There are concepts that we look at politely, and others that we would immediately like to get the keys for. Introduced at ZCON 2026, the gathering of Nissan Z enthusiasts, the Z Kaze definitely belongs to the latter category. Its recipe? A good dose of nostalgia, character, and the sky as the only ceiling.

Its custom T-top roof transforms the coupe’s silhouette and promises beautiful rides with the wind in your hair. Makes sense: “kaze” means “wind” in Japanese. With its Pacific Teal paint, a blend of blue and green, this Nissan delightfully embraces its 1990s inspiration.
Not a cardboard concept!
The best detail is actually lower down: authentic 18-inch NISMO LMGT2 wheels that have been sourced and restored. Add wider fenders, a ventilated hood, and carbon aerodynamic elements: here’s a Z that flexes its muscles without falling into caricature.

And the muscles are not just decorative. The 3.0-liter V6 biturbo features a GReddy SUPREME SP exhaust, an air-to-air intercooler, and an Airinx intake. However, Nissan does not specify any power gains. The suspension also benefits from NISMO components.
Inside, the white leather adds a bright touch, while the headrests house Bose speakers. Honestly, we would prefer to listen to the V6.
No commercial release has been announced in the statement. Too bad: for this mix of nostalgia and mechanics, we are sold.
