Ligier Turns to the Dark Side

The Ligier JS50 license-free with internal combustion engine gets a sporty makeover with a limited edition Black 1000.
Ligier Group was established in 2008 from the merger of two major players in the European market for light and heavy quadricycles: Ligier Automobiles and Microcar. Now led by François Ligier, grandson of Guy Ligier, the group continues to innovate to conquer new markets, and nothing says innovation like a limited series with a sporty look to take us back to Ligier’s glory days in racing… albeit with less power, of course.
Limited to 1,000 units and featuring a sleek style, this JS50 benefits from exclusive equipment. An intense black exclusive decal kit « Black 1000 » with serial numbering emphasizes the model’s exclusivity, while a carbon interior finish highlights its sporty aspect. Under the hood, no surprises as regulations prevent modifications. The two in-house internal combustion engines, DCI and Progress, remain available.
However, Ligier remains aware that its primary target audience is young and highly connected. The JS50 Black 1000 naturally includes a 10-inch touchscreen tablet on the dashboard—the largest on the market—with double USB ports and a rearview camera. In terms of connectivity, the JS50 Black 1000 comes standard with Android Auto and Carplay, as well as the Hifi Pack 6.0, to meet the highest expectations. Priced at €14,999 with the Progress engine or €16,199 with DCI, expectations are met.
