Laffite Automobili is a new hypercar brand based in Turin, founded by Bruno Laffite and Pascal Cohen. During its official launch in Miami in May 2023, the company presented three hypercar models designed by the GFG Style design studio, led by Fabrizio and Giorgetto Giugiaro, and produced in limited editions by L.M. Gianetti. Laffite Automobili has opted to explore a range of hypercars derived from real sports prototypes and rally-raid race cars homologated for the road. The first model of these limited series, the Laffite LM1 (24 units), will leave the Turin factory in April 2024.
On Wednesday, November 15, during the grand evening event “One Night For One Drop,” the first charity event of the Formula 1 weekend in Las Vegas, the LM1 was auctioned for $2.6 million. To the great delight of Guy Laliberté, president of the One Drop foundation, as well as the charismatic founder of Cirque du Soleil: “The event aimed to raise funds for sustainable access to drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene in the most deprived communities.
