Renault Bridger Concept: a compact SUV with Dacia DNA

The Renault Bridger Concept illustrates the international strategy of the French manufacturer, but behind the Renault logo, it retains 99.99% of its Dacia DNA.

This compact SUV, measuring less than 4 meters, although branded Renault, continues the philosophy of the Franco-Romanian brand: robustness, practicality, and accessibility, while adopting a strong urban style.

The Bridger Concept adopts bold proportions for the B segment. Its ground clearance of 200 mm and 18-inch wheels enhance its rugged look, while the deliberately simplified cubic front end adds character and readability. The headlights stretch across the grille, which features the “Renault” inscription, but the overall handling of volumes and the overall style remain identifiable as stemming from Dacia’s tradition.

At the rear, the spare wheel mounted on the trunk door enhances the functional and adventurous look, true to the brand’s DNA. The Satin Dune Beige color and the wheel arches soften the overall appearance, introducing lightness and visual balance.

An international model

Despite its compact dimensions, the Bridger Concept stands out with a spacious interior. The rear knee room reaches 200 mm, a record for the segment, and the trunk offers a volume of 400 liters. The elevated driving position provides optimal visibility and a feeling of safety, reflecting the comfort and practicality codes beloved by Dacia.

The Bridger Concept foreshadows a future production version, developed in India by the end of 2027 on the new Renault Group RGMP small modular platform. Depending on the markets, it will be available in thermal, hybrid, or electric versions.
