Panda Classic, a last affordable option for the road?

Fiat takes advantage of the compliance with GSR V2 standards of its small Panda to offer its fans a special version.

After 44 years in the market, over 8 million cars sold and as many variations as there are desires, the Panda is preparing to take its bow to be reborn as the Grande Panda. To mark the difference between these two models that are completely opposed, there will now be the Grande and the… Classic. Not very original, but very clear in terms of message.

The new Panda Classic range therefore receives all the mandatory driving aids, the famous ADAS. Standard equipment includes an advanced emergency braking system, lane-keeping assistance, driver drowsiness detection, and traffic sign recognition. Rear parking sensors, cruise control, and automatic high beams complete the package to make this classic Panda a well-equipped modern car.

Since you can be classic without being dull, the premium Pandina trim receives a new 7-inch touchscreen with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto set into a new white dashboard. Many cheerful little details enrich a design that, in this case, is starting to show its age, especially with a little panda face on the hubcaps and decorated side protections.

Fiat had promised “No More Grey”, meaning no more grey or dark colors, so it’s time for yellow, white, black, red, blue, and green. A Panda should not be dull!
