Hyundai Kona 2023: Prices Revealed (Video)

The new generation of the compact SUV is about to be launched in France, and Hyundai already reveals the prices of the Kona Hybrid.

The main strength of Hyundai is offering a range that provides customers with multiple powertrain options. Depending on the model, you can choose between gasoline, diesel, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and 100% electric.

The first generation of the Hyundai Kona was launched in 2017 and offered these numerous configurations. This competitive advantage contributed to its success, especially in France, despite its average interior space and traction issues on the electric version.

The second generation, which will be launched in the coming weeks, should address some of its predecessor’s weaknesses, but will only be available as hybrid or electric.

For now, only the prices of the Hyundai Kona 2023 Hybrid are known. While they started at €27,100 for the entry-level Initia, the starting price will now be €33,400 for the base model Intuitive. Despite the absence of a tax penalty, this is still quite high.

Length of 4.35 meters and width of 1.83 meters, it significantly improves its wheelbase (2.66 meters), which should help enhance interior space. The trunk is expected to increase by nearly 100 liters! On the technical side, it features a four-cylinder gasoline engine with 105 hp, combined with a 44 hp electric motor. The lithium-ion polymer battery has a capacity of 1.56 kWh. The combined power is set at 141 hp.
