Ferrari Vision GT: The Dream Ferrari is Hybrid
This page is translated from the original post "Ferrari Vision GT : la Ferrari de rêve est hybride" in French.

Virtual object, the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo is a creation for the GT7 video game on PlayStation, powered by a V6 hybrid engine and three electric modules.
Ferrari has never really wanted to produce sports cars for the general public. Well, except for the Dino spin-off in collaboration with Fiat. But this doesn’t stop it from letting people indulge in a bit of dream, even if you don’t have at least €200,000 in the bank. This weekend, it’s showcased through a virtual concept: the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo.
The Ferrari of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in unbridled mode
This car supports Ferrari’s return to the World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thus, the Prancing Horse brand creates a very “prototype”-style vehicle. According to the Italian marque, the Ferrari VGT draws inspiration from cars of the 1960s and 1970s. It specifically cites the 330 P3 and 512 S.
Celebrating 75 years of racing – the 125 S from 1947 – the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo partially takes its system from the 2023 Le Mans 499P. The vehicle is therefore hybrid. It features a 3-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 930 hp, combined with three electric motors. Two power the front wheels, and one the rear axle, for an additional 326 hp.
Thanks to this incredible power, four-wheel drive, and a weight of 1,250 kg, the single-seater could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds. Aerodynamics play a big role, with air transfer work on the flanks. This is a patented solution that would allow the Ferrari Vision GT to complete the Fiorano circuit in just 1 minute and 10 seconds. To put that in perspective, it’s 9 seconds faster than the hybrid SF90 supercar and nearly 20 seconds quicker than the legendary F40!

A real Ferrari Vision GT starting December!
Although the object is entirely virtual, a full-scale model is in the works. A “real” Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo will be on display from December 15 to March 2023 at the Maranello (Italy) museum.
