The Citroën C5 Aircross Émeraude will arrive in October 2026 with an unprecedented color and more comfort features. A special series that celebrates its roots in Brittany.
Brittany doesn’t just produce postcards: it also makes SUVs. Assembled in Rennes-La Janais, the Citroën C5 Aircross proudly claims its origins with a new special series Émeraude. Unveiled at the Breton Economic Forum on September 10, it will join the lineup in October 2026, a year after the launch of this second generation.
Its most visible feature? An Emerald Blue body inspired by the shades of the sea. Coordinated touches adorn the front bumper and protection of the front doors, while a French flag accompanies the Émeraude signature near the rear window. This series will also be offered in black, gray, white, and green.
What features for the C5 Aircross Émeraude?
Based on the Plus trim, this version does not rely only on its paint. It adds an electric driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The rear armrest, wireless smartphone charging, and a hands-free powered tailgate complete this equipment, along with a specific interior ambiance and blue details.
The Drive Assist 2.0 Pack is also included. It combines lane positioning assist, semi-automatic lane change assistance, long-distance blind-spot monitoring, and traffic alert while reversing.
Hydraulic progressive bump stop suspensions, Advanced Comfort seats, and a 13-inch touchscreen remain part of the package.
Commercialization in October, prices still awaited
The C5 Aircross is available in hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric versions, with up to 680 km of WLTP range for the extended range electric version. However, Citroën has not yet specified the available engines for this Émeraude series, nor its prices. Two crucial pieces of information to assess the appeal of this new Breton variant.
