This Double World Champion drives a DS 7

Double Formula E Champion, Jean-Éric Vergne swapped his company DS 4 for a personalized DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360.

Race driver specializing in electric motorsport, the DS Automobiles ambassador now drives a DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 during the week. The style of his new vehicle was also customized by the DS DESIGN STUDIO PARIS and features an exclusive color scheme. The work was then completed at the DS Performance workshops.

Previously seen on the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE and DS E-TENSE PERFORMANCE concepts, the two-tone treatment subtly marries a new satin gray shade with a glossy black that extends from the roof to the hood. The satin gray – with metallic and mineral touches – covers the entire front end and then gradually fades in stripes in favor of the usual Gloss Gray offered to DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 customers.

The customization is also applied in the form of accents on the exterior mirrors with the same two-tone and bipartite treatment, blending gray and black, satin and gloss. The dynamic effect is emphasized by the sequence of alternating stripes on the profile, creating a sense of speed through the use of color and material.

The hood badge bearing the “JEV” logo as well as a “JEV 25” reference (his racing number, which refers to his birthday) on the front doors complete this exclusive creation.

This DS 7 features a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 360 horsepower. Able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, it also offers a 57-kilometer electric-only range in WLTP combined cycle.
