Xiaomi Enters Green Hell

A new record at the Nürburgring for the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra and a strategic partnership for the ambitious Chinese manufacturer.

Xiaomi EV has reached a major milestone by announcing that its high-end electric sedan, the SU7 Ultra, has set a new record on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. With an impressive time of 7 minutes, 4 seconds, and 957 milliseconds, it becomes the fastest in its category on this legendary track.

On its first attempt, equipped with the optional track package, the SU7 Ultra demonstrated its full potential. This success is built on a solid technological foundation: a powertrain consisting of three motors (two V8s and one V6) generating 1,548 horsepower, a high-performance battery, and an advanced torque management system. The result: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds and a top speed exceeding 350 km/h.

But beyond pure performance, this achievement also marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between Xiaomi and the Nürburgring. The Chinese company is now the official partner of the famous German circuit, a site recognized worldwide for testing vehicles under extreme conditions.

This alliance is concretely reflected in the introduction of a turn named “Xiaomi Curve” on the Grand Prix circuit layout, and in the integration of Xiaomi EV into the select group of “Industry Pool” members, the group of manufacturers authorized to conduct development testing on the Nordschleife.

Thanks to this partnership, Xiaomi aims to turn the Nürburgring into a true open-air laboratory. The goal: to refine its technologies, enhance the reliability of its vehicles, and push the limits of electric performance.

With this record and this new strategic positioning, Xiaomi confirms its ambition: to become a major player in high-performance electric vehicles, relying on the world’s most demanding circuit as a field of innovation.
