Mate Rimac, founder of the automotive brand that bears his name, has taken delivery of his incredible personal Nevera.

Mate Rimac founded Rimac Automobili in 2009 with the dream of building a fully electric hypercar. Today, 15 years later, he has taken delivery of his own Nevera, a car that bears his name and represents the very embodiment of his vision for the sports car of today and tomorrow.

As one might expect, the man who knows every nut and bolt, every length of wire and every line of code of the Nevera had a clear concept in mind for how his car should be customized. A fully carbon body tinted in red and a custom anodized red Nevera badge with touches of raw natural carbon fiber. A way to unveil the carbon soul of this car.

Hand-painted Croatian flags are on the side mirrors, and a lightning bolt is hidden under the rear wing in homage to the Mediterranean storms off the coast of Croatia that inspired the name Nevera. Mate is known for being extremely proud of his company’s Croatian roots and has always resisted the siren calls of outsourcing.
