The first major advantage is this next-generation ultra-fast charging. With their 5C LFP battery paired with an 800 V architecture, the G6 accepts up to 451 kW of charging power, and the G9 reaches 525 kW, values that are simply unprecedented in their categories. As a result, charging from 10% to 80% takes only 12 minutes. XPENG claims the shortest charging times on the market, surpassing many premium brands.
But performance doesn’t stop there. These new LFP batteries, in addition to being safer and more durable, avoid rare metals like cobalt or nickel. This is both an ethical and technological advancement. All this without compromising on range, which exceeds 550 km depending on the versions.
Onboard, the manufacturer promises intelligent comfort, advanced connectivity, and more customization options. The interiors have been completely rethought, both in terms of design and embedded technology.
As for the prices? They remain particularly competitive. The G6 “Extended Range” starts at 46,990 euros, while the G9 “Standard Range” is listed at 59,990 euros. The high-end “Performance” versions reach 50,990 € and 73,990 €, respectively. In a long-term lease, the G6 is available starting at 435 €/month, and the G9 at 765 €/month.
Deliveries of the G6 will begin at the end of September, with the G9 following in November. The base version of the G6, “Standard Range,” will arrive in early 2026. With this dual offensive, XPENG confirms it intends to shake up the French market. For the same price, the brand always offers more.
