What is the price of the Renault 5 Electric?

Highly anticipated, the new generation Renault 5 revealed a little more this week under the guidance of maestro Luca di Meo.

Renault 5, to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2024, marks the rebirth of an iconic model already recognized by the press and social media. The Renault 5 will offer more than 400 km of range, with an entry price of around 25,000 euros.

At this price, no phone door acting as an infotainment screen like on the Citroën ë-C3, but a true next-generation system. It will be equipped with the Reno avatar, a virtual co-pilot powered by artificial intelligence, learning every day from its users to better anticipate and meet their needs.

The R5 of tomorrow

First introduced on the upcoming Renault 5 electric, the new CMF-B EV platform is designed to be the most competitive in its segment, while delivering performance at the top of its category. To achieve this, this platform uses 70% of components from the CMF-B platform, notably used on Clio and Captur. Compared to ZOE, the CMF-B EV platform reduces manufacturing costs by 30%.

At the same technological level as the Mégane E-Tech electric, for example, the upcoming Renault 5 electric aims to be the benchmark in its segment for driving pleasure. Its dynamism will be enhanced thanks to an optimized chassis equipped with a multi-link rear suspension, usually reserved for higher segments, and a lower center of gravity with batteries installed under the floor.
