Volvo EX30 Cross Country, an Experience Not to Be Missed!

The Volvo EX30 indulges its adventurous side with all-wheel drive and an explorer-inspired look. But all this comes at a price.

Volvo officially launched today, live from Lapland, the Volvo EX30 Cross Country. This small all-electric SUV is designed for those who seek adventures beyond crowded cities, in all weather conditions. More than a car, an experience according to the manufacturer, which we are eager to believe.

Building on the success of the EX30, this off-road model incorporates elements suited to off-the-beaten-path exploration. Raised and equipped with large wheels with optional all-terrain tires, the EX30 Cross Country promises optimal performance on difficult terrains. It also features front and rear skid plates, enlarged wheel arches, and a distinctive design, including a black Topography band, a tribute to the Swedish landscapes of the Kebnekaise mountain range. The “Cross Country Adventure” pack enhances the experience with complete wheels, roof bars and a roof rack, as well as rugged fender flares.

Although perfect for getaways, this SUV also fits into urban environments. With a range of 427 km and rapid charging from 10 to 80% in 26 minutes, it combines practicality and sustainability. Its all-wheel drive ensures smooth handling on slippery or rough terrain.

A Well-Designed SUV

Inside, the Volvo EX30 Cross Country stands out with its functional design. Clever storage spaces, such as doors integrated with speakers in a soundbar, and configurable compartments between the front seats and under the center tunnel, facilitate daily use. A sizing guide in the trunk optimizes loading, while a removable storage bin for rear passengers can serve as a trash bin. The standard Google infotainment system includes Google Maps and other connected services. Through the Volvo EX30 app, it’s possible to pre-condition the vehicle before departure.

The EX30 Cross Country will be available from this spring and is already listed on Volvo France’s website starting at €55,900. This price seems high, but remains close to that of the base EX30 Twin Performance. And since the latter sells quite well, there are high hopes for the Cross Country.
