The Volkswagen ID.3 GTX Performance eligible for the ecological bonus!

Golf GTI killer for some, ugly exercise in style for others, the Volkswagen GTX Performance is a topic of debate but does not leave anyone indifferent.

To avoid upsetting its clientele of purists, Volkswagen has reasonably left aside the GTI badge for its 100% electric sporty variants and has developed a specific GTX range. At the top, we find the ID.3 GTX Performance with its optimized chassis, sporty accessories, and of course 326 quietly powerful horses that are just as spirited as their thermal counterparts.

Honestly, we didn’t expect such an attractive electric sports car! The ID.3 GTX Performance develops 326 horsepower, making it the most powerful electric motor ever installed in a Volkswagen. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, offers 594 km of WLTP range, and its road behavior is exceptional thanks to the numerous electronic aids it benefits from. The ID.3 GTX is rear-wheel drive and weighs nearly 2 tons. With a bit of bad faith, one might convince themselves that it is impossible to find the GTI DNA in this car, however exceptional it may be. There remained a concern regarding its price as Volkswagen had launched pre-sales in Germany at a price of 52,295 euros. The model then placed itself in direct competition with the Golf GTI Clubsport and its 300 lively gasoline horses at 53,085 euros. But Volkswagen France made an incredible effort for its clientele and the ID.3 GTX Performance is available for order starting at 47,990 euros. You might think the math doesn’t add up since only models priced below 46,000 euros are eligible for the bonus. The manufacturer hasn’t forgotten this and specifies that since its model meets the criteria to benefit from the environmental score, it will be eligible for an ecological bonus of 4,000 euros, subject to conditions of discount. A super electric sports car and the prospect of a little negotiation between good friends with your favorite dealer! Isn’t life beautiful in GTX at 42,000 euros?
