A Police Tesla Cybertruck

The fiery CEO of Oracle, Larry Ellison, revealed his vision of a Police Cybertruck during his group’s latest KeyNote.

Former member of Tesla’s board of directors, Ellison has remained very close to Elon Musk. So, a little nod to his friend, or a clever PR move? It doesn’t matter because the effect is achieved. He justified this appearance by the fact that the unique design of the Cybertruck makes it a good candidate for a police vehicle and more simply… because it is his favorite car.

A good joke among friends?

“Our next-generation police car will be coming very soon,” said Ellison during the conference. It’s my favorite car, and I think it’s also Elon’s favorite.” Ellison couldn’t resist throwing a little dig at Musk regarding the lack of information about the Cybertruck: “I know quite a lot about it, and I might be tempted to share some information with you soon.” Tesla has still not announced the pricing and configuration options for the Cybertruck. Even though 2 million units have been pre-ordered, we don’t even know the delivery date! Who knows, maybe Ellison really managed to obtain some of this information before anyone else had access.

Cybertruck Superstar

The production of the Cybertruck has already started, and more than 100 units have been built by Tesla so far. Many of them have been paparazzi’d during real-world testing sessions, fueling fantasies about the vehicle.

Beyond the wink, there is a real possibility of seeing Police Cybertrucks on American roads someday. Besides its robustness, the Cybertruck will offer particularly low maintenance and operating costs, and its performance won’t make it look ridiculous in a high-speed chase.
