This location is strategic: producing in Europe will avoid the customs duties imposed on Chinese imports, while also reducing logistical costs.
A decisive advantage is added to this equation: by manufacturing on European soil, the B10 could again qualify for ecological bonuses, which many imported cars are currently denied. As a result, the price paid by the end customer could significantly decrease.
How low can the price go?
Currently priced at under €30,000, the B10 could, once produced in Spain and eligible for local incentives, get closer to the symbolic threshold of €25,000, or even lower in certain highly incentivizing countries. This prospect would make the Chinese SUV a formidable competitor for European mainstream manufacturers, who would be forced to follow this price war.
