Tesla bids a grand farewell to its Model S and X

In a final nod to its iconic models, Tesla unveils limited “Signature Edition” versions for the Model S and X.

This exclusive series sounds like a swan song for two vehicles that have significantly contributed to building the Tesla legend.

Produced in only 250 units for the Model S and 100 for the Model X, these very special editions will only be accessible by invitation. A strategy that reinforces their elitist character… and their price: over $159,000 before taxes, significantly positioning them above the already high-end versions.

Tesla makes a golden pencil mark

Visually, Tesla plays the card of ostentatious refinement. All units feature a deep red shade “Garnet Red,” paired with gold logos and specific “Signature” and “Plaid” badges. The Model S stands out even with matching door handles. Inside, the ambiance is nearly artisanal, with a white interior enhanced with Alcantara, specific stitching, and gold Plaid logos. Each vehicle also receives a numbered plaque, underscoring its exclusivity.

The equipment is equally impressive. In addition to a dedicated lighting showcase and a specific key, these models come with the “Luxury” package which includes supervised autonomous driving, several years of premium services, and free charging. The Model S also benefits from carbon-ceramic brakes with gold calipers, further enhancing its positioning.
