DENZA, the premium brand of BYD Group, arrives on the European minivan market with the D9 DM-i hybrid.

This large seven-seater family vehicle is not only spacious, it reinvents travel by combining first-class comfort with ultra-efficient Super Hybrid technology.

At the heart of this new model is the Super Hybrid DM-i powertrain (plug-in hybrid). With a 58.5 kWh Blade battery, the D9 offers up to 210 km of all-electric range in the WLTP cycle. With a full 64-liter tank and a charged battery, the combined range reaches 950 km. Ideal for daily city trips without consuming a drop of gasoline, while remaining calm for long family or business journeys.

The interior transforms every trip into a lounge experience. The second row features Air Spa “zero gravity” seats: ventilated, heated, with 16-point massage and reclining up to 152°. They even include 50 W wireless chargers. Even the third-row passengers benefit from heated and ventilated seats. The Devialet audio system with 16 speakers offers exceptional immersive sound, while the six-zone voice recognition allows everyone to interact naturally with the vehicle.

Denza and Premium in Every Form

The exterior design perfectly embodies DENZA’s philosophy: “Technology drives elegance.” Smooth lines, electric sliding doors with hands-free opening, electric tailgate, and a modifiable trunk volume of up to 2,310 liters when the seats are folded down. DENZA even talks about the “777” concept for its minivan: seven adults, seven cabin-sized suitcases, and seven backpacks.

Regarding onboard technologies, it features a 15.6-inch central screen compatible with Google and Apple CarPlay, screens dedicated to rear passengers, a smart 7.5-liter refrigerator, and up to four 50 W wireless chargers. The DiSus-C smart suspension ensures optimal comfort in all situations.

Another major advantage is FLASH Charging technology. The battery can charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes and from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes. Even in extreme cold (-30 °C), it remains efficient.
